Aqua Stories: Making of a School Aquarium de luxe by Frederic Fuss
In
December 2014 my dear Friend Manuela was teaching at an elemantary
School and they had a 100L Tank in the School which was maintained by
her and the Children.
But then they had some Algae Issues, and that was when the Idea came up for a new improved scapelike Tank.
Shortly
after that i was talking to Juwel, JBL, Aquanzen and Bernd Terletzki
from Aquarium Tonndorf if they were willing to Support us with
everything needed.
Surprisingly they didn`t even hesitate and delivered everything neccessary and even some Luxuries too!
Then on the 5th of September we set up the Tank. And on the 7th of October the Fish came and everything just went fine.
This Tank is now a wonderful, athmospheric Gift for the Children and maybe an Inspiration to Many!

Favourites: iwagumi by Mathias Nilsson
Those rocks, and the empty space amongst them, remind me of the film Aliens. It looks like a spaceship about to take off.
Favourites: nano tank by Grant Kaplan
Great contrast and use of the vertical space in this small tank
Favourites: ‘Smash the Mirror’ by Ludo Bourdin
GAPLC 2014 entry
A very interesting iwagumi concept, where the action of the scene tends to be pushed to the side playing with the reflections of the rocks to extend the scape. Amazing work!

That is a healthy plant! I am sure I would spend hours staring at all those hiding places for fish and shrimp. Reblog if you would too.
